According to the latest daily statistical report from Gaza’s health authorities, at least 35 Palestinian civilians have been killed and 109 others wounded by the Israeli military in the past 24 hours alone.
The attacks, which have continued unabated, were especially concentrated in central and northern Gaza, with 25 of the deaths reported since early Wednesday morning.
Among the latest casualties:
- Three people, including two young girls, were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a home in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA.
- Three more civilians died when warplanes bombed the Hamdan family residence in Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.
- An airstrike in the al-Sawarah area killed a man and a pregnant woman.
- A disabled man was killed in a bombing in al-Zeitoun, a neighborhood in Gaza City.
- Another person succumbed to injuries sustained in al-Bureij refugee camp.
- Five more people, including two children aged eight and nine, were killed when tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Mawasi were bombed.
Local authorities stress that the actual death toll is likely higher, as numerous victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.
Since Israel officially resumed its large-scale military operations in Gaza after a brief ceasefire marked by repeated violations, 2,308 Palestinians have been killed and more than 5,900 injured.
Since the outbreak of violence in October 2023, the cumulative toll of Israel’s military campaign has reached 52,400 Palestinians killed and 118,014 injured, according to Gaza’s health ministry. These numbers continue to rise amid what Palestinian officials and international observers have increasingly described as a genocidal war.
